The Hutton Company Brick Works operated from 1865 to 1980, on the Hudson River in Kingston, New York. It supplied brick throughout the Hudson Valley and New York City, including large projects such as Yankee Stadium and the Empire State Building.
The site today is the last nearly-intact assemblage of structures dating from the Hudson River brick manufacturing era. The Hutton kiln sheds are iconic testimony to the Hudson River’s industrial history.
