Property Description

The Starr Institute Building is a historic property located in the heart of the Village of Rhinebeck, New York. Constructed in 1862 and named after William Starr Miller, a New York Congressman, the purpose of the building was to provide facilities that would allow the people of Rhinebeck to improve intellectually and morally. For the following 113 years, Starr Institute was home to the town's circulating library. MWest acquired the property in the early 2000s and has preserved its original Gothic revival facade while tastefully improving the interior and amenity areas into attractive spaces for commercial use.
